The King's Singers x Voces 8
A choral super group
Attention choir lovers: Two top-level British close harmony groups are forming a supergroup. The King’s Singers and VOCES8 are joining forces for an unforgettable concert. Pop and classical, jazz and contemporary: together, they can handle it all.
It doesn’t get more perfect than this
In the summer of 2024, The King’s Singers and VOCES8 combined their vocal magic for the first time in a joint concert at the Royal Albert Hall. “Close harmony singing doesn’t get much more perfect than this,” raved The Times. Now this supergroup is coming to the Grote Zaal (Main Hall) for a varied concert full of surprising crossovers.
A groundbreaking grand tour
The British are justifiably proud of their grand choral tradition. Since 1968, The King’s Singers have been one of its crown jewels. Their a cappella artistry spans from Renaissance music to contemporary repertoire, and from Bach to Bacharach. The twenty-year-young VOCES8 enriches this tradition, dazzling with fusions of pop, jazz, and contemporary classical. Together, they deliver a groundbreaking grand tour through music history: from Paul Simon to Gustav Holst, and from Elton John to Ēriks Ešenvalds.
